Located in the very northern most part of Utah, five miles from the Utah/Idaho border, the Gilt Edge Mill was originally built as a grist mill by the early Utah pioneers in 1864.  Today Gilt Edge Flour Mills, Inc. is in its’ fourth generation as a family owned and operated business.

Gilt Edge Flour Mills, Inc. has a proud heritage of customer service and customer satisfaction.  As a small independent flour mill, Gilt Edge has the capability to adapt to customer requirements and quickly respond to customer needs.  It is our goal at Gilt Edge Flour Mills, Inc. to provide our customers with products of uncompromising quality and to provide the service necessary to create a close and lasting relationship.

FOODSERVICE FLOUR

HI-PRO FLOUR:  Enriched-Bleached or Unbleached flour ground from a blend of hard red winter and hard red spring wheats.  A strong flour with good tolerance, medium mix requirements and high absorption.  Uses include pan breads, rolls, buns, croissants, sweet goods, hearth breads, hard rolls and pizza.

BREAD FLOUR:  Enriched-Bleached or Unbleached flour designed for medium to small shops.  Medium mix requirements with good absorption.  Uses include pan breads, buns, soft rolls, variety breads and pizza.

ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR (HOTEL AND RESTAURANT):  Enriched-Bleached or Unbleached general purpose flour used for all types of baking including breads, rolls, donuts, sweet dough products, pancakes, waffles, biscuits, breading, gravies, batters, muffins and pizza.

INSTITUTIONAL BLEND ALL PURPOSE FLOUR:  Enriched-Bleached or Unbleached low protein flour for use in products requiring little gluten strength.  This flour is typically specified by government agencies for their all purpose or general purpose flour needs.

Foodservice Flour is available in 25#  and 50# bags.
